As she loves to paint she spends many hours at her work and discovers many new ways of presenting her art which includes introducing lustres in new and unusual ways into her painting. Needless to say, she also continues to perfect her skills in the traditional style of painting.

At present she teaches porcelain painting at her studio (Matsurika Porcelain Art Studio) in Tokyo and in the Ibaraki prefecture.
