For a long time, individual porcelain seminars have belonged to her range of professional offers. In order to pass on her knowledge effectively, group numbers are restricted to six participants and there are intensive seminars with only three participants also in her own painting studio. In addition, painting groups in the whole of Germany are regularly looked after externally. Mrs Foster is also very happy to answer queries from foreign countries.

While taking part in the international exhibition “Art on Porcelain and Glass 2005“ in Potsdam, Melanie Foster received a silver medal of honour. The extremely relaxed atmosphere and the good intellectual exchange among the artists from all over the world persuaded the painter to take part in the coming years in further exhibitions and competitions. The book “Porcelain Painting – Experiencing Nature” which will be presented in November 2006 in Martigny is Melanie Foster’s first book. The artist lives with her husband and son in Emmerthal/Lüntorf near Paderborn in Germany.
