Doris Vetsch-Gerber,
born 1933 in Switzerland, discovered the art of china painting when she was very young. She studied all the classical painting traditions, but she really loves painting the Nyon flowers. She perfected her skills with master painters such as Uwe Geissler, Petra and Joerg Kugelmeier and learnt the modern painting techniques in seminars given by Peter Faust. Since 1965 she teaches in her own studio in Ennetbaden close to Zurich. The artist organizes exhibitions and is a regular guest at the annual painting convention in Martigny, Switzerland. This book presented here is an excellent overview of her very impressive life’s work.
